Florida Intergenerational Orchestra Receives State Award

The Florida Intergenerational Orchestra of America

On December 8th, in a special performance at The Volen Center in Boca Raton, Commissioner Abrams presented the 55-member Florida Intergenerational Orchestra a proclamation applauding the presentation of the first annual “Legacy Award” to the orchestra by Florida’s Department of Elder Affairs and commemorating “Intergenerational Week.”  The orchestra is comprised of musicians ages nine to 92 and has been in existence for seven years.
