The Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Program is sponsored by the State of Florida Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund. Service is provided anywhere in Palm Beach County during the same hours and days as Palm Tran fixed route bus service. To become eligible for TD service, the applicant must submit proof of income, or a physician completed medical verification form and their completed application.
Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Eligible customers may qualify for a discounted TD Bus Pass if they meet household income guidelines that fall between 0-150% of the Federal Poverty Level. Applicants must apply in person at Palm Tran CONNECTION offices located at: 3044 South Military Trail, Suite D, Lake Worth, FL 33463. TD trips will require a $3.00 per one-way trip fare for all trips. There will be no exceptions. Customers are expected to pay their fare upon boarding. Failure to have your fare ready may result in the rescheduling of your transportation.
